Obituary of Alphonse Joseph Lanteigne
The death of Alphonse Joseph Lanteigne, husband of Lenora (Peters) Lanteigne occurred on February 11, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Belledune, NB he was the son of the late Alphonse and Mary Anne (Pitre) Lanteigne. He was employed in construction throughout his working life and was affiliated horses and car racing. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Alphonse John ‘Joey’ (Francine) of Bathurst, step-children Peter (Maria), Lolita (Larry), Lucerica (Brent), Mitchell (Paula), Stg. Kyle (Nancy) and Joel, brothers Albert (Mabel), Peter (Ethel), Leonard (Blanche), Gilbert, sisters Elizabeth, Suzanne, Theresa McIntyre, Margaret Rose, special grandson Andrew Richard, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister Evangeline and Doreen, brothers Elric, Alex, Andrew and Edgar and 2 infant daughters. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, at 11:00 am, in Brenans Chapel. A family interment will take place in Belledune. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB would be appreciated
