Obituary of AGNES MARGARET FRANKLIN
FRANKLIN, AGNES "PAT" MARGARET- Peacefully after a full life on May 3, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Saint John, N.B. Born in Black River, NB she was a daughter of the late William and Amy (Loughery) Yorke. She leaves behind her daughter, Beverley, and son, Neil, her four grandchildren, Allyson, Jennifer, Daniel and Kathryn. She also leaves her former husband, Mitchell, a niece, Dale Peters and nephew, Franklin Babb as well as numerous cousins and friends. Predeceased by her son, Roger, and her only sister Leila Williams. She was actively involved in a host of community organizations, too many to mention. Pat was an inspiration and a magnificent role model for all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. The true measure of Pat's life is found in the countless people who where changed and enriched by her presence. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB with visitation on Friday, May 5, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2006 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Roger Franklin Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. Francis Xavier University or The Black River United Church.
