Obituary of Mary Evelyn Seely
Seely, Mary E. – The death of Mary Evelyn (Cosman) Seely, of Upper Golden Grove, wife of the late Howard J. Seely, occurred on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth, NS, she was a daughter of the late James and Rose Ann (Smith) Cosman. Evelyn owned and operated Eve’s Canteen in Hunter Lake for many years. She was a member of Glenview United Church. She is survived by four sons, Alan Robicheau (Carol Penny) of Upper Golden Grove, NB, Leslie (Dorothy) Robichaud of Bear River, NS, John (Mavis) Robichaud of Hunter Lake, NB, and Grant Seely of Hamilton, ON; sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by two brothers, Fred and Murray, and two sisters, Rita and Agnus. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, November 5, 2007 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or a charity of the donor’s choice.
