Obituary of Lana Dawn Cook
Cook, Lana Dawn “Lannie” … by accident, the death of Lana Cook occurred on October 25, 2007. She was born in Saint John on December 22, 1972 to John and Louise (Larsen) Cook. Lana worked at Sears Clinque in the McAllister Mall. Besides working she was a full time mom, she loved her children and attended their hockey games and dance classes. She also volunteered with cancer patients, taking care of their needs. Besides her parents, Lana is survived by her partner in life Frederick “Fred” MacNeill and three daughters: Brodie, Jaden and Charlee; her brother, Darrell Cook of Yarmouth, NS; her twin sister, Lori Ann McCully (Dennis) of Petitcodiac, NB and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Josephine and Lawrence Larsen; her paternal grandparents, Harold and Edna Cook and three uncles Tommy, Johnny and Robert Larsen. Lana will be missed by all, but she will be missed especially by her loving children, which she loved so much. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Lana’s life will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 1 pm from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances of Lana may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice in person, by phone or via our website www.brenansfh.com
