Obituary of Dolia Mary Francis

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dolia "Dolly" Mary Francis announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, September 14, 2012 in her 100th year. She was the wife of the late Marshall G. Francis. Born on December 20, 1912 in Neguac, NB, she was a daughter of the late Gregory and Martha (Rousselle) Savoie. Dolly was former proprietor of M.G. Francis Hardware Store, Grand Bay – Westfield. She was a former member of the CWL at St. Augustine’s Church. Dolly was a social sponsor of Westfield area Beta Sigma Chi. She is survived by siblings, Alcide Savoie, Amanda Malley. She is also survived by sister and brother-in-law, Jean (Norman) Francis; nieces, Linda MacDonald, Sandra Francis and Andrea (Allan) Kane; nephew, Brian Francis; several nieces and nephews. Dolly was predeceased by her parents, husband, and siblings, Helene Savoie, Elizabeth Malley, Barbara Comeau, Melinda Savoie, Merida Godin and Delcia Savoie. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 10:00 am from St. Pius X Church. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
