Obituary of Jason Freeman Train
Jason Freeman Train of Saint John passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 as the result of a highway accident. Jason was born in Saint John on June 8, 1989, the son of Victor and Cynthia (Kupkee) Train. Jason was a graduate of Simond’s High School and the Mechanical Technology Course at NBCC, but Jason’s chosen career was to work with his brother Stephen at Port City Pawn Shop, which they both enjoyed and created a strong bond between them. Although Jason’s time in this life was short, he lived more than most people, and enjoyed every minute of it, whether sky-diving, white-water rafting, Jason’s love of life, which he shared with so many great friends, always came through. He also enjoyed music festivals, and of course his Harley Davidson motorcycle. In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his brother, Stephen Train (Jill) of Saint John; his girlfriend and the love of his life, Alice Fudge; his grandparents Gerry Kupkee and his wife Barb of Sussex, Vivian Scott of Saint John, and Muriel Train of Saint John; aunts and uncles Brian Train (Ardith) of Saint John, Harry Train and Larry Train, both of Fort McMurray, AB; Tanya Jones (Andrew) of Saint John; Christine (Lisa) Kupkee of Burlington, ON, and Andrew Kupkee (Cassandra) of Saint John; and several cousins. Jason was predeceased by his grandfather, Harry Train, and his best friend Jared Rector. Visitation will take place at King’s Valley Wesleyan Church, 332 Hampton Road, Quispamsis, NB, on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM from the church. For those who wish, remembrances to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Online condolences and remembrances may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com.
