Obituary of Leo Raymond Coleman
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Leo Raymond Coleman of Saint John, husband of Blanche Mildred (Rose) Coleman wife of 55years which occurred on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at his residence. Born on November 3, 1935 in Hampton, NB he was a son of the late David and Margaret (Doherty) Coleman. Leo was employed with Atlantic Towing for 40 years. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved the outdoors. Leo is survived by his children, Kimberley Scott (Dr. Dan) of Grand Bay, NB; Raymond Coleman (Lori); Michael (Susan) and Jason (Melissa) all of Saint John; ten grandchildren, Megan (Josh) Smith, Laura Coleman, Britteny Greenan, John Greenan, Shane Scott, Nicholas Coleman, Matthew Coleman, Ryan Coleman, Cassie Coleman and Carly Coleman; siblings, Leonard, Gerald, Helen McPhee and Mary Laird; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by son, John; brothers, David, Vernon, Harold, Ronald. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00 am from St. Ann’s Church. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Society of NB or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
