Obituary of Mary Jeanette Phillips
With her family at her side, Jeanette Phillips passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, August 23, 2013. She was born on May 27, 1953 in Saint John to the late Uldric and Claire (Comeau) Thibodeau. Jeanette was a fixture at the Tim Horton’s Lansdowne, working there for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed bingo and bowling. Jeanette was a dedicated mother to her children and spent countless hours watching and supporting their sports. She is survived by her sons: Chris Hickman (Melissa) of Welsford and Jake Hickman (Tina) of Saint John; daughters, Leanna Hickman-LeRoy (Sue) of Grand Bay-Westfield and Lisa Crowe-Blackmore (Tim) of Halifax; sisters: Anne Macleod, Denise Thibodeau, and Linda Negas; brothers: Wayne, Raymond, Joe Thibodeau and Paul Mercer; grandchildren: Dawson, Megan, Griffin, Nolan, Brandon, and Kelsey; Jason and Ethan; and Megan; her children’s sister, Alicia Hickman of Calgary; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place privately in the Lorneville Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances to the Palliative Care Unit (SJRH) would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.BrenansFH.com
