Obituary of Martha Mary Pelletier
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Martha Mary (Haché) Pelletier wife of the late George M. Pelletier which occurred on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Kennebec Manor. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was born on July 15, 1915 in Bathurst, NB, she was a daughter of the late Jerome and Mathilda (Pitre) Haché. She was a member of St. Joachim’s and St. Joseph’s Church. She enjoyed cards and bingo. Martha is survived by seven sons, Andre (Denise) of Ottawa, Magella (Tess), and Daniel, both of Vancouver, Levi of Moncton, Fernand (Helen) of Pickering, George (Linda) and Claude, both of Saint John; four daughters, Mary "Rose" McNamara (Bernard), Noella Chiasson (Adeodat), Andrea Goodwin (Lorne), all of Saint John, Claudette Johnsons (Van) of Vancouver; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-children, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by seven sons; two daughters; two sisters; one brother. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, with visiting on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 2-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 29, 2013 from St. Ann’s Church at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Golden Grove.
