Obituary of David George McQueen
It is with great sadness the family of David G. McQueen announce his passing on May 19, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. David was born in Saint John on April 30, 1942, he was a son of the late George and Lillian (Kennedy) McQueen. He was a life long resident of Saint John and had been employed with C.N. Railway. He is survived by two brothers, Jon MacQueen (Maureen Humphrey) of Grand Bay-Westfield and Wayne McQueen (Gail Paradis) of Vancouver, BC; three sisters; Doreen Harvey of Sussex, NB, Sharon Mann (Sud) of Merritt, BC and Pam Doiron (Robert) of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by a sister, Ruthanne Worrall; nephew, David MacQueen and nieces, Sherri Harvey and Charlotte Doiron. By request of the family there will be no visiting. Friends and relatives are welcome to attend the funeral service which will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. Following the service a reception will be held at Brenan’s Reception Centre.
