Obituary of Ingeborg Klohn
With great sadness the family of Ingeborg Klohn, beloved wife and mother, announce her death at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 9, 2013 after a lengthy and brave battle with Cancer. Inge was born in Bremen, Germany on May 19, 1927 and immigrated to Canada in 1958. After working as a legal secretary in Germany, Inge devoted herself to her family. She was predeceased by her daughter, Camilla (Fenety). Inge is survived by her husband of 64 years, Fritz Klohn; daughter, Karen Klohn-Hanrahan (Steven); brother, Toni Wragge (Irmgard) of Lemwerder, Germany; several nieces and nephews and close friends. Inge’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital, particularly the Oncology Department, 3B South and the Palliative Care Unit for the care and compassion Inge received. At Inge’s request there will be a private committal service in Long Reach United Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
