Obituary of Doris Patricia McGrath
Surrounded by her family the death of Doris McGrath, wife of Stephen McGrath occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. She was born on May 9, 1953 in Saint John to the late Joseph and Shirley Babineau. Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; devoting her life to her family. She is survived by her husband, Stephen; sons: Norman Garnett (Krista) and John Garnett; daughters: Tammy and Patricia Garnett; sister, Madonna Garnett (Roland); brother, Jimmy Babineau; half-sisters: Linda and Rosie; grandchildren: Brandon, Trevor, Melissa, Ryan, Brittany, David and Travis; great-grandson, Hunter and several nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her parents; first husband, Norman Garnett and brothers: Harry Babineau and Roy Coates. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish remembrances to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
