Obituary of Jacqueline M. Boone

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jacqueline M. Boone of Saint John, which occurred on Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 14, 1926 in Fredericton Junction, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Maynard) Heenan. She graduated from Fredericton Junction High. Jacqueline retired from NB Tel after 38 years. She was a member of Aliant Pioneers and a former member of the Thistle Business Ladies Curling Club. Jacqueline volunteered for the Canadian Blood Services. She loved and enjoyed playing curling, bowling and tv bingo. Jacqueline is survived by her two sons, Arthur Boone of Prince George, BC and George (Kim) Boone of Nauwigewauk, NB; four grandchildren, Donna, Terrina, Tanis and Sonia; six great-grandchildren, Christopher, Jordon, Hayley, Adam, Peyton and Liam; one brother, Reginald (Susie) of Cold Lake, AB; special niece, Aloma and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son, Glendon; two brothers, Wally and Doug. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 7-9 pm and Monday, September 10, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 10:00 am. Interment in Fredericton Junction Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
