Obituary of Frances M. Gray
Frances, 82 of Evandale, wife of the late Douglas C. Gray passed away peacefully on Monday, April 9, 2012 at Bobby’s Hospice after a valiant battle with ALS. She was born December 2, 1930, North Head, Grand Manan to the late James and Edith (Parker) Wright and step-mother, Daisy (Clark) Wright. Frances enjoyed knitting, reading, cooking and outings with her sister, Mollie and niece, Wendy. Frances is survived by one daughter, Nancy Bogle (Allan) of Oak Point; grandsons: Ryan Bogle (Erica) of Picadilly and Trevor Bogle (Sarah) of Oak Point; great-granddaughter, Bella of Picadilly; sisters: Mollie Searle (John) of Saint John, Joan Gosse (Jack) of Public Landing, Grace Wright (Gary) of Saint John; brothers: James Wright of Public Landing, Eugene Wright (Carrie) of Grand Manan and Thomas Wright (Mary) of Saint John and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband and parents, Frances was predeceased by her brother, John and sister, Bonita. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 1:30 pm. Interment will take place in Oak Point Baptist Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice, ALS Society or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
