Obituary of Phyllis Marion Leaman
The death of Phyllis Leaman, wife of the late Harry Leaman occurred at the Loch Lomond Villa on Sunday, July 21, 2013. She was born on March 30, 1930 in Saint John to the late Maj. Christie M. and Victoria (Wilcox) Belyea. Phyllis worked at Calps and Woolco retiring from Woolco as a divisional supervisor. She loved spending her summers at the cottage on the Saint John River. She was an avid bingo player. Phyllis is survived by her sons: Randy (Linda) and Steven (Heather) both of Saint John; daughter, Donna Rice (Carl) of Wirral; brother, Cleveland Belyea (Hazel) of Woodstock; grandchildren: Jason, Jeffery, Tammy, Christopher, Cyle, Matthew and Jonathan; great-grandchildren: Brandon, Alyssa, Nicholas, Jacob, Jayden, Tori, Taylor and Hannah; great-great-granddaughter, Daneeka and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, parents and brother, Christie. The family would like to thank the Nurses and staff of the Loch Lomond Villa for their support and kindness during Phyllis stay with them. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation or the Huntington’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
