Obituary of Dawn Mildred Lesjak
Dawn Mildred Lesjak of Saint John passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on July 26, 1934, she was a daughter of the late James Ross and Margaret Vondee (Mundee) Perry. A former member of Branch 69 of the Royal Canadian Legion, Dawn enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles, and always enjoyed the solitude of being home. She is survived by her children, Debbie Emmerson (Gary Erb), Robin Lesjak (Krista), and Stephen Lesjak, all of Saint John, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital for the kind and attentive care given to our mother during her stay there. Although there will be no visitation time, relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside funeral service, which will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, Sand Cove Road, Saint John West. For those who wish, remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice or the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital would be appreciated by the family. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Online condolences and remembrances may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
