Obituary of Deborah Faye Kenny
Surrounded by her family, the death of Debbie Kenny, wife of Richard "Dickie" Kenny occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 24, 2012 after a long battle with diabetes. She was born on August 31, 1958 in Saint John to Vesta Garfield. Besides her husband and mother, Debbie is survived by her two daughters: Debbie Ferrar (Dee) and Jennie Ferrar (Andrew); granddaughter (her pride and joy), Arlene Catherine Doucette, mother-in-law, Dorothy Kenny; half-brother, William Garfield (Sherry); special friends: Roxanne and Frances and numerous half-brothers, half-sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her infant son, Edward Michael Ferrar and grandmother, Doris Cochrane. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church, 316 Somerset Street on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Diabetes Association or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
