Obituary of Robert John Fudge
Surrounded by his loving family, the passing of Bob Fudge, husband of the late Althea (Stevens) Fudge occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. He was born on May 11, 1933 in Saint John to the late Robert and Margaret (Corr) Fudge. Bob worked as a finance manager for the CIBC for many years until his retirement. Bob enjoyed his morning coffee at Burger King with the boys, weekly trips to Calais and travelling. He also loved to shop on EBay. Bob is survived by his daughters: Brenda Wilson (Brian), Karen McEachern (Kenneth), Margaret Burgess (Blaine), Krista Fudge and Carla Stuart (Joel) all of the Saint John Area; grandchildren: Melissa, Ryan, Kerri-Lynn, Kristy, Scott, Adam, Jacob and Lucas; great-grandchildren: Marissa, Aiden, Hayley, Zachary, Landen and Cohen; brother, David (Elizabeth); sisters: Valerie Langille (Dave) and Roberta Horgan (Gerald) and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. George Rural Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Cathedral Fund, Rocmaura Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
