Obituary of Lillian Dorothy Liddy
Lillian Dorothy Liddy of Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, and formerly of Saint John, wife of the late James Samuel Liddy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Newfoundland on June 10, 1918, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary (Follett) Dwyer. Lillian is survived by her children, Gwendolyn Henry (Lawrence) of Rothesay, Patricia Behun (Stephen) of Doiron, Ontario, and James Liddy (Joy) of Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia; a sister, Gladys Ough of Saint John; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Lillian was predeceased by a sister, Emily Hetherington; and by a brother, William Dwyer. Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral graveside service, which will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Fernhill Cemetery.
