Obituary of James Hanford Gosson

It is with great sadness that the family of James Hanford Gosson announces his passing on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his loving family at his side. Born on November 22, 1959 in Saint John, he was a son of Marjorie (Mosher) and the late Hanford Gosson. Jim worked for Air Canada for 17 years. In his later years Jim was involved in the trucking industry and last employed with Gosson Enterprises. Jim was well known with family and friends as the complete handyman, always running to fix a car or repair a leak for anyone who just needed it done. He is survived by his loving mother, Marjorie; two children, Clayton (Sasha) and Hannah Gosson both of Saint John and their mother, Heather (Armstrong) Gosson; four siblings, Stephen (Cheryl) of Saint John; Lorie Gosson (Lance Dixon) of Fredericton; Sharon (Wayne) Wilson of Saint John and Wendi Gosson (Frederic Roy) of Saint John; four nephews, Ryan Gosson, Christopher Ferris, John (Jaime) Wilson and Jamie Wilson; three nieces, Katelyn Gosson, Courtney Ferris and Emilie Roy. Jim was predeceased by his father, Hanford Gosson. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
