Obituary of Jean Audrey Williams
The family of Jean Williams of Clifton Royal, wife of 63 years to Walter Williams, announce her peaceful passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born October 21, 1937 in Lower Argyle, NS, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Hilda (Morton) Lennox.
Jean worked as a caregiver with the Red Cross for many years. She enjoyed her social time with Kingston Friendship Group and the Peninsula Pearls. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her loving husband, Walter, Jean will be missed by her children: Heather Ryan (Michael F.), Beverly Williams, Carmen McEwen (Phillip), Brian Williams (Linda), and Colin Williams (Lynn); 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters: Shirley Hamilton, Beverly Nickerson (Blanchard), and Gloria Israel (Joe); brother, Raymond Lennox (Claudia); special friend, Helen O’Connor; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son, David Williams; grandson, Jonathan Ryan; and her brothers: Preston, Niel, and Basil.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 10 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. For those who wish, remembrances to Parkinson Canada, Arthritis Society of New Brunswick, or the NBSPCA- Animal Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
