Obituary of Carla Margo Fuller

It is with broken hearts, but gratitude for a lifetime of memories that the family of Carla Fuller, beloved wife of Patrick Fuller, announces her passing which occurred unexpectedly on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on July 22, 1968, she was the daughter of Carl Porter (Marlene Latchford) and the late Margaret (Tucker).

Carla was a skilled and caring labour & delivery nurse for 17 years. She began her career at a hospital in Florida, staying for a short time before moving back home to Saint John. Over the course of her career, she had the privilege of welcoming a countless number of new lives into the world.

In addition to her husband, Patrick of 22 years and her father, Carla will be missed immensely by her daughters Emma and Lauren; her brother Jeff (Peggy); a niece and nephew, Maggie and Sam; as well as many, many friends.

Carla is resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019  at 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 36 Mountain Road, Saint John. Interment will take place at Hampton Rural Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Sweet Caroline Foundation.
