Obituary of Frank Mitchell Smith

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Frank Smith announces his sudden passing, which occurred on Friday, May 10, 2019. Born in Yarmouth, NS on December 19, 1937, he was a son of the late Roy and Mary (Goudy) Smith.

Frank will be missed by his children, Frank Jr. (Aggie) and Brenda (Jim); grandchildren Frank and Shyanne; four great-grandchildren; his loving companion Jacqueline Verner, and her children Philip and Audrey; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his siblings Eva, Dorothy, Vicki, Mary, Raymond, Eddie and Kay.

Frank was a 4^th degree member of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (Right Honourable). He enjoyed shooting darts, working at the flea markets in both Sussex and Rothesay Avenue, and meeting with his friends from the bike club.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, New Brunswick (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 12:00 pm from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
