Obituary of Theresa Marie Breau
The death of Theresa Breau occurred on Friday, May 17, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born on July 23, 1928 in Allardville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Octave and Marguerite (Paulin) Breau.
Prior to retiring, Theresa had a career in restaurant management in Montreal, Quebec. After retiring, she spent over 20 years volunteering at the Richardson Hospital Centre with the elderly, a calling she truly enjoyed and where many friendships were made. Theresa always looked forward to being with those she loved and especially enjoyed the visits with her adored great-great-nephews and nieces.
Theresa will greatly missed by her niece, Stella Jensen; nephews, Jonathan White (Corey) and Christopher White (Carrie); great-nephew, Peter Jensen; great-nieces, Sahlena Jensen, Misty White and Tara White; as well as her cherished and precious great-great-nephews and nieces, James, Jacob, Ronan, Tyler, Abby and Ahyla. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Grace White and her one and only special man, Frank.
A special thank you to Greta and her son Alex for all of their love and friendship.
Theresa's family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sheehan, Trish and all the nurses and staff on the 6th floor of St. Joseph's Hospital. The exceptional care and firendship shown towards Theresa and her family will never be forgotten.
In keeping with Theresa’s wishes, there will be a gathering for family at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to St. Jospeh's Hospital Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB.
