The family of Alberta Louise Craig sadly announces her passing on Tuesday, June 19, 2019 at Rocmaura Nursing Home in her100th year.  Louise was born on April 9, 1920 and was a daughter of the late Wallace and Alma (Outhouse) Gower.

Besides her parents, Louise was predeceased by her first husband John “Jack” Jackson, her second husband, William Craig, an infant son, David John, her sisters: Ruby McCormick, Alida Wilson and Joyce Hersey, and brothers: Fulton, Murray and Franklin Gower.

Louise will be remembered by her sisters: Gwendolyn Gower and Nellie Losier and many other nieces, nephews and members of her extended family.  She will be especially missed by her nephew Gary (Veronica) Gower, their children Alex (Kayleigh Young) and Katherine Gower along with Jim Gower, Brenda Churchill, Wanda St. Peter and Dianna McEachern who visited her regularly.

Louise was employed as a sales clerk and model at times, with Calp’s, Scovil’s and Manchester Robertson Allison Limited (MRA’s).  She enjoyed traveling, long drives and day excursions and took great pride in her meticulously kept home and her appearance.
