Obituary of Richard "Rick" Kirby Armstrong

The death of Richard “Rick” Kirby Armstrong of Saint John occurred on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on May 31, 1951 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Kirby and Nora (McKay) Armstrong.

Rick had a long working career with the City of Saint John, retiring as the Plumbing Inspector.

Rick will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered by his daughter, Bethany Nora Armstrong of Toronto; brother, Robert Armstrong of Quispamsis; sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Pappas of Millidgeville and ten nephews.

Although there will be no visitation or funeral service, relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service, which will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, 1650 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM.  The honourary pallbearers will be John, Deno and Peter Pappas. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
