Obituary of Sue Miller
With appreciation for a life well lived, the family of Sue Miller of Clifton Royal, beloved wife of the late Ernest Miller, announce her passing which occurred on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Kings Way Care Centre, Quispamsis. Born on November 18, 1933 in Chatham, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Boyle) O’Hearon. Sue was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Sue started her teaching career at the age of 16 and retired as the Vice Principal of Rothesay Junior High at the age of 52. Sue’s life was always led by her faith. She was instrumental in building and supporting her community and would help anyone who came to her with a need. She loved being actively involved in all activities and her generosity of time and commitment will never be forgotten. Sue loved people, looked forward to gatherings, playing bingo and a good game of cards. She will be greatly missed.
Sue is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and beloved cat, Snowball.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Ladies Auxiliary Tribute we be held Sunday beginning at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Bridget’s Church, Chapel Grove on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in St. Bridget’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue or a charity of the donor’s choice.
