Celebration of Life
Obituary of Ronald "Ronnie" Everett Miller
With appreciation of life well lived, we grieve for the passing of Ronald “Ronnie” Everett Miller, husband of June Miller, which occurred on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at his residence in Clifton Royal. Born in Saint John, NB on May 24, 1940, he was a son of the late John Everett and Barbara Elsie (Ganong) Miller.
Ronnie was a man of many interests. First and foremost, he was an exceptional carpenter known for his work. He instilled a work ethic like none other in everyone. He was a volunteer fireman with Peninsula Fire and acted as Chief for some time. Ron loved to head to the woods in the winter to cut his firewood. Several years he used his work horses to yard. He also enjoyed taking the horses to parades and horse shows. Above all, Grampy loved to spoil, laugh with and torment the little ones he loved so much.
Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife June Miller; sons: Doug Miller (Brenda Gilchrist), Pat Miller and Peter Miller (Kelly); daughters: Lori Olsen (John) and Sarah Estabrooks (Darrell); 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Albert Miller (Sharon); sisters: Eileen Cardozo (Jose) and Pearl Carson (Bruce) along with cousins, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In keeping with Ron’s wishes there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. However, relatives and friends are invited to come and celebrate Ron’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #62, 1356 Route 845, Clifton Royal (Kingston Peninsula) on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Donations in Ronnie’s name can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
