Obituary of Sherry Lynn Marie Taylor

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sherry Lynn Marie Taylor, surrounded by her family, which occurred on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saint John, N.B., she was a daughter of Joanne Taylor and the late Wayne Callaghan.

 

Sherry had a lust for life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved her Tim Horton’s and playing bingo. Sherry had a big heart and had a smile that never faded.

 

Sherry is survived by her mother Joanne Taylor (Wade Bradbin); sisters Margaret Taylor of Saint John, and Jennifer Frank (Brian) of Alberta; half-sister Laura Earle; aunts Kathy, Diane and Norma; Uncles Ovila, Wilfred and Eugene; nephews Austin (Karissa) and Anthony; niece Patricia as well as her many cousins and extended family.

 

Sherry was predeceased by her grandparents Elie and Annie Kelly; father Wayne Callaghan; step-father Alfred Boudreau.

 

The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the staff at the Rocmaura Home – Terrace Court, her special friend Dorothy Rooney and her bingo partner Margaret.

 

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, N.B. (634-7424). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at St, Joseph’s Cemetery. A reception will be held at 656 Brunswick Drive following the interment. Condolences in Sherry’s memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Rocmaura Foundation.
