Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Green

Green, Margaret E. (Peggy) – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Peggy Elizabeth (Andrews) Green, wife of the late Russell Green, on October 29, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Born in Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Teresa (Wynne) Andrews.  Peggy was employed with NBCC as a Department Head until her retirement. She was an active member of Forest Hills Baptist Church as well as various local support groups.  She will be remembered for her genuine concern and kindness to all.

She is survived by one son:  Tony Marshall (Patty); two sisters:  Pauline Alderman (Larry), Mary Martin (Wayne O’Neill); two grandchildren:  Baylee and Nate and several nieces and nephews.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John NB (634-7424) with visiting on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, November 4, 2019 from Forest Hills Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m.  A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at a later date in Grand Manan.  Remembrances to a charity of your choice.  Online remembrances and condolences may be placed at www.brenansfh.com
