Obituary of Ronald Charles King

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ron King, loving husband to the late Linda (Keleher), announce his passing which occurred on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family by his side.  Born in Fredericton on April 23, 1950, he was the son of the late Charles and Lillian (Goodine) King.

Ron was a long-time member of Legion Branch 69. He enjoyed playing Darts and played crib on a competitive level. He also enjoyed lawn bowling and always took an active role in the sports played by his kids.

Ron leaves behind his children: Rhonda King (Jake Tanasichuk), Stephen King and Ron (Debbie) King, his grandchildren: Randy, Ricky, Timmy, Jacob, Adam, James and Denica King, Cali and Paige and Alexis King, great grandchildren: Abreyah and Riley along with many members of his extended family and friends.

Besides his parents, Ron was predeceased by his wife of 36 years, Linda.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, November 17 from 2-5.  A Legion Service will start at 3PM.  A Celebration of Ron’s Life will start at 5PM, the same day.  Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Monday, November 18 at 11 AM.
