My uncle David was one of those few people that had some goals and dreams he wanted to fulfill in his life and put his head down and took action to achieve those things.
He did manage to achieve those dreams and goals and more leaving a legacy of a productive life well lived and a wonderful beautiful and loving family he helped to create.
He was kind and generous, thoughtful and funny and inspiration to me and many others who's lives he touched.
He will be missed by Me and Cliona and his great nieces and nephews Eric, Kristi, Page and Troy Arnold.
Sincere condolences to Leanne, cousins Krista, Andrea, the kids, Kayla,Megan, Jordan, Rachel and Michael.
Our thoughts and prayer have been with you these past few months.
Big hugs from all of us,
Steve and Cliona

I only had 8 years to get to know you but, in that time I felt the kindness of your heart, the warmth of your soul and your warm personality. You were the definition of family. You loved yours so much. You will be missed daily by everyone who had the honor of knowing you. Rest easy Dave and know that, you are deeply loved by your family.

Such a lovely photo of Dave, that captures his serious business sense, but still, that little twinkle in his eye.I was so honoured to serve with him when he was the treasurer of our Board on Village Estates. He steered us safely financially, mixed it all with his signsture humour, and became a treasured next-door neighbour.
My heart goes out to your wonderful family.

My heart goes out to Dave’s Family , what a special fellow he was to all who knew him, such integrity, and honesty he showed. Most times Dave showed his tough , no Nonsense side, to me I found that big Teddy underneath, true character. I’m am so glad he let me keep those brows trimmed, as I know Leanne appreciated as well. We both liked to tease him. To those he has left behind he loved you all dearly, he’s shared that in the past many times , and how proud of you he was. I’m just saying good bye for now , we will meet again one day beyond Heavens Gate. My condolences, to Leanne. , Kip and the boys, other members I’ve met. Thinking of you all , losing someone you love is never easy .
Sincerely

Dave and I went to school in Marysville when i came from Holland. It has been a long time since I talked with Dave, the last time was at City Springs. We always had a good time back in the simple times of the 50s and 60s. Dave was a great guy.

I was truly saddened to hear of David's passing, My brothers, Mike, Jarvis and Ken were closer growing up, I was the girl and living in chance Harbour the boys were all about themselves. In later years we met at Sobey's many times and had a quick laugh and passing on of family news. He will be truly missed. Will be in touch and keeping all in my prayers and sending lots of hugs.

Dave's unexpected passing has come as a great shock. We genuinely feel the grief of losing such a fine friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We always appreciated Dave's carefee, outgoing personality. His great smile and positive outlook endeared him to all. We saw both of you at the 55th reunion. Dave was a wealthy person ~ he had the love of his family, respect of his many friends, and pride in himself. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched. May the comfort and support of those who love you, along with wonderful memories, bring peace and solace

My condolences to all Dave's family. Dave and I grew up together at Young's Crossing, hanging out at my Uncle Guy Young's Garage and sharing many adventures over the years. He was always fun to be around and so quick to come up with a come back to what was happening. We hadn't communicated for years and I saw him on FB this past summer with my Cousin Harold Plummer and another close friend from our younger years Bill Hanson and we began communicating again. We had planned to meet either in Woodstock or Fredericton since I now live in Edmundston and he had intended to attend my Wife Wanda's Celebration of Life in Fredericton back in July but health appointments prevented this. Again I am thankful I was able to call him my Friend and remember in the memories we shared through the years. Again my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Dave was my cousin and over the years we were often mistaken for brothers, - no slight to his brother my cousin Don Page.
We were friends as well as cousins from our childhood days summering in Chance Harbour, to enjoying many good times as business partners in various ventures after we grew up and on the river.
Dave was one of a kind! He had a quick wit not that common in accountants I have come to know. Dave could have you in stitches even while discussing the boring subject of doing "the books."
He was as a third generation accountant following his grandfather Alfred Page from Woodstock, his father Ron and his uncle John (the Reevey, Blackmore, Laws and Page partner) with much of his accounting prowess gained from his family background.
Dave had that entrepreneurial spirit even when young and he first served in the RCMP right out of school. He then went to work with his uncle John's accounting firm who were my accountants at the time. Always wanting to get into business for himself, he was very successful but always humble about his success.
He loved business and the many people it brought him in contact with.
In addition to business, we enjoyed boating together for many years.
Dave will be truly missed by his family and his many friends throughout the Maritimes.
Fair Winds and Following Seas on your next adventure Dave.

David was a big, positive part of my life. I’m feeling great sympathy for the family and for me and all of his friends and admirers. Among his many talents, he was the funniest story teller I knew. He had a direct and practical view of the world that was accompanied by a strong sense of fairness and kindness. He celebrated every day heroes regardless of fame or fortune. I’ll always miss him.
