Dear Kevin, Christopher, Susan, and Andrew,
Edward and I are so sorry to learn of Sandra's passing. She was a wonderful colleague and friend for many years at the University Bookstore--always thoughtful and smart, caring, and full of funny stories. She was a second, well-loved mother to countless students, and was very much missed by everyone on campus when she retired. Our sincere condolences to your whole family on the loss of a kind and beautiful woman.

Dr. Halcrow and Family: It is with sadness that I read of your great loss. Sandra’s smile and laughter were infectious: her care and concern for others authentic and her joy for life evident to all. At this difficult time may you feel God’s love in every kind word and gesture.

Hi Kevin. I read with sadness the news of Sandra's passing and I am truly sorry for your loss. Dr B had mentioned that Sandra wasn't doing so well a few weeks ago and all of us from the old Registrars Office (the BEST -Margaret, Marilyn, Heather, Penny etc etc) were very saddened by the news. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Sandra was a wonderful lady and will be sorely missed by all. Sue

Little did I know when Sandra's children all attended M.Gerald Teed School, that I would later be such good friends with her in our book club. I always enjoyed her stories and her special insights into the books. Our whole group laughed often at the clever things she said. We will miss her smile and her wonderful way. So sorry Kevin, Susan, Chris and Andrew.

Kevin - My condolences to you and your family. Sandra was always such a gracious and welcoming host when your grad students came for visits on Candlewood Lane. She always made us feel comfortable and ensured we had loads of fun! Over the years, each time I'd run in to her at the UNBSJ Bookstore or in the community, we'd share a good laugh and I'd come away smiling. She had that affect on people.

Sandra was a member of our book club for many years, and we loved having her around. We would always laugh that she had a fondness for Canadian authors, and you could always count on Sandra to pick a Canadian book when it was her time to choose! She will be missed by many, Sincere condolences to Kevin & her family.
