Ken was such a good friend to my Dad, Arthur Roy Belyea, and my Uncle Otty Sherwood, who built Sherwood Park. Also, my other Uncle Hazen Belyea. I was young, and heard the respect, and nothing but good things said about Ken. You have my deepest sympathy. May Ken Rest In Peace. Merien (Belyea) Wimmer...Airdrie, Alberta

From my first visit to St John in 1977 (as Barb’s Scottish penpal) to my most recent visit in 2016, Ken and Elizabeth welcomed me into their home and their hearts. I have many wonderful memories of family times at Skyline Drive, Browns Flat, drives to Moncton to visit the Lawsons and to cosy chats with Ken in his den. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed. I send my love and sympathy to all his family.

One of my most cherished memories is of Don Lawson and Ken Blair solving the world's problems - at the picnic table at Brown's Flat. I will also always remember the time we arrived for a visit and someone saying to Elizabeth "you have company." Elizabeth's reply: "that's not company, that's the Lawsons." We were always made to feel welcome, whether at the cottage or at 20 Skyline. Our condolences at your loss - your parents leave an enduring legacy of love and friendship.

We were so very sorry to hear of Ken's passing. Our parents, Marie and Bill Kilpatrick, were long time friends of both of your parents through Glen View United and also of Dad having worked with Blair Construction for many years. Mum and Dad thought so highly of Ken, as did we. Praying you will find peace in your many memories of a wonderful man. The Kilpatrick Family

Ken and Elizabeth were lifelong friends of my Mom and Dad from our days in
Wallace Station. I was about 10 years old and remember Ken leaving Wallace
for Saint John on his farm tractor and not very attractive trailer. A truly
remarkable success story. My condolences to the Blair family; they must be
very proud to have had such a Father, Grandfather and all.
