Obituary of Mildred Reicker Palmer
The death of Mildred Palmer of Grand Bay-Westfield, cherished wife of the late Eldon Palmer, occurred on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born on December 21, 1927 in Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late George and Effie (Reicker) Thomson.
Prior to retiring, Mildred was employed as a receptionist for Dr. Walter Hayes for many years. Mildred was a skilled knitter, quilter and together with Eldon enjoyed many trips across Canada and their winters in Florida. Her work ethic and strong Christian values were remarkable and something that will not be forgotten by her family.
