Obituary of Maurice Edward Callaghan Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Maurice Edward Callaghan Jr., husband of Donna Connelly, which occurred on February 20, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 2, 1947 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Maurice and Florence (Anderson) Callaghan Sr.

He was employed with The Village restaurant until his retirement. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and wrestling fan and enjoyed playing guitar.

Besides his wife, he is survived by daughter, Stephanie Weare (Kevin) of Saint John; brothers: Chris, Leslie and Pat; sisters: Theresa, Judy, Betty Jean and Bonnie; stepmother, Carol; two grandchildren, Emmajean and James.

Besides his parents he is predeceased by two brothers, Wayne and Michael.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John NB (506-634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, February, 23, 2020 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 12 PM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel.
