Obituary of Frances Middleton
Middleton, M. Frances - With appreciation of a life well-lived, we grieve for the passing of our mother, Mary Frances Middleton, wife of the late Arnold Middleton, which occurred on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Kingsway Care Centre with her family by her side. Born on November 8, 1930, in Saint John, she was a daughter to the late Sigard Wooldridge and the late Lillian (French) and George Vincent.
Frances enjoyed playing cards and loved BINGO. She also enjoyed country music and listening to the Golden Oldies. Above all, spending time with her family was most important and she will be dearly missed.
Frances will be lovingly remembered by her children: James (Terry) Greer, Dale (Charlotte) Greer, Beverley (Cedric) Simpson, Susan (Ernest) Doucette, Jane Gabriel, Betty (Dan) Perry, Patty Bent, Barbara (Eugene) Thorne, Pam (Steve) Robichaud and Karen (Richard) Brooks, her 25 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter along with many nieces, nephews and members of her extended family.
Besides her parents, step-father, and husband Arnold, Frances was predeceased by her son Ronald Middleton, daughter Cheryl Greer, granddaughter Jamie Robichaud and son-in-law Harold Gabriel.
Frances’ family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to all of the amazing staff at Kingsway Care Centre. You cared for our mother like she was family. Your compassion and kindness will not be forgotten.
Frances is resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) where family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, March 2 from 2-4 and 6-8. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, March 3 at 2 PM from Brenan’s Chapel.
