To Cathy and Inez and families—I was saddened to receive the news of the death of m my cousin Maxine. I remember her from my earliest days, and shea and my sister Myrna developed a special, life-long friendship. Maxine was kind and generous to us. She shared her knowledge of the family history with me, helping me to write a memoir. I will remember Maxine laughing. She could find humour in the simplest of situations, and share it with others. Spending time with her was a feel-good moment. She will be greatly missed.
