Obituary of Cathy Scopie

It is with heavy hearts the family of Cathy Ann Scopie, companion and the love of her life Mike Gallant announce her unexpected passing on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Amherst, NS, on August 9, 1964 she was a daughter of the late John and Freda (Roberts) Scopie.

Cathy enjoyed playing bingo and having a pepsi.

Besides her companion, Mike Gallant she is survived by her children Tina Scopie and Bruce Lee Scopie; two granddaughters: Monica and Mya that she had brought up. She was a foster mom at one point and she loved them as if they were her own; sisters and brothers: Michael Scopie (Kim), Rickey Scopie (Deb Verner), Grace Scopie (Danny Stevens) and Wesley Scopie. She will be missed by her five grandchildren that she loved with her whole heart; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her niece Misty.
