Obituary of Patricia "Pat" Wilson
The death of Pat Wilson occurred on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Shannex Tucker Hall, Saint John. Born in Saint John on November 19, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (O’Brien) Wilson.
Prior to her retiring, Pat was a loyal employee of NBTel for 40 years. She always took great comfort in her Catholic faith, was a parishioner of St. Peter’s Church until its closing and had a special devotion to the Tuesday night Novena service. Pat always held a special place in her heart for her pet dogs, Roxy and Dinah. She enjoyed travel, old movies and was a Royal Family enthusiast.
Pat will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Catherine Wilson; special cousins, Ellen Rawlinson and Ernestine Rooney; as well as 10 nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews along with many great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, J. Arthur Wilson, Elizabeth Campbell, Anne Shields and Gordon Wilson.
Due to the current health advisories, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or Canadian Cancer Society.
