Kim, Todd and Family, Frank was such a gentleman and sincere nice man to know. Of course his contributions to tennis in N. B. And his superior game is legendary.
I am sure you have many wonderful family memories to treasure. We loved seeing him come to the courts still for the NB Open. He will be missed by many.
Sincerely, Gail and Jim Izzard

Kim, Nicholas and Family.. so very sorry to learn the passing of your sweet, kind, gentle Dad. He was our neighbor for a long time and I can still remember him going for walks around the block here with Nicholas. Totally by coincidence, I had the opportunity to visit with your Dad at the Shannex a couple of months ago as I was looking at the facility for my Mom. I held his hand and gazed into his kind blue eyes and we chatted for a bit. I am grateful for that memory. Cherish all the wonderful memories of your Dad. Thinking of you all during this most difficult time..

Kim, Todd and families,
Our sincere condolences to you all.
We are glad that we had an opportunity to visit Frank in Shannex - we had a great visit with him, reminiscing about the days at the Rothesay Tennis Club.
He reminded us then, that you, Kim and Todd, had come out and swum in our pool after playing tennis. Great memories.
Your Dad was a very special person and we always enjoyed his company ( and your Mom’ s too).
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

To the Family: It has been many years since Frank and I crossed paths. But as it is said it is very hard to forget a gentleman such as Frank. He knew I was a good play and got me to take the NB/Canadian Tennis Teaching course. I always remember his
help/guidance/competitiveness on the cost when we played but most of all his friendship. To this day I tell people about Frank and what he did for me many, many
years ago I am sadden that such a fine person will no long be with us in body, but he
will be alway in my thoughts every-time I see a tennis court.
God bless you and keep you Frank Allan

Darrell and I first met Frank when we joined the Rothesay Tennis Club. He was so welcoming and he and Darrell hit it off right away. He was so great how he supported Matthew with his tennis and came to watch him play quite often. He will be missed dearly. Rest in Peace dear man.
To Nick and your family, our thoughts are with you. When I hired Nick to work at my summer program; I was so shocked to hear he was Frank's grandson! I knew right then, he would be a great asset to our team.

I was lucky enough to know Frank for over 50 years and I totally agree with all of the wonderful words I have read used to describe his character. To me he was the epitome of a gentleman on and off the tennis court. He was soft spoken, caring and always considerate of the people around him. He could be funny and fun when it suited as well. What I want to talk about tho, as a tennis player and someone who has always appreciated the finer aspects of the sport, Frank Remete was in a class of his own. Many of us who watched and played with Frank were in awe of his skill on the court. His control and placement of his low forehands was a thing to behold. Heaven help you if he got his racquet on a ball at the net because it would be point over. Over the years Franks serve started to fail him but you would be sorely mistaken to think he couldn't still beat you. He had a unique style on the court and off the court he was a man I think we would all wish to be more like. To his family, please accept my sincerest condolences.

When I first started playing tennis Onorio Rosseto would tell me about this amazing tennis player named Frank Remete. After eventually meeting him and then knowing him both on and off the court I realized what a wonderful person he was in every sense of the word. His family was number one, a great mentor and friend to everyone In tennis and soccer, and excellent engineer.
A huge loss.

I knew of Frank by his outstanding reputation long before I met him. I remember being quite excited and a bit nervous to meet him the first time, knowing he was one of Saint John's "famous" people. But the person I met was the kindest, most humble, most gentle person...…..indeed, the word "gentleman" is appropriate in so many ways. It was my pleasure and honour to have known him. The world needs many more Franks in it. Rest well Frank.

Kim, Mark, Nick, Todd and family,
Some people smile with their eyes, Frank was one of them. His kindness and love for all of you literally defined him. I think he taught me something every time we talked, and we always came away with a chuckle. You were truly blessed to have had him as a Father and Grandfather ~ they don't make them like him anymore. Our hearts go out to you all, especially during these most difficult times.
