Obituary of Judy Ann Burgess
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Judy A. Burgess announces her unexpected passing, which occurred on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at her residence. Born in Fredericton on October 21, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Sylvia (Booker) Button, and step-daughter of Ray Button.
Judy worked hard as a valued administrative assistant graduating many classes over her 32 years of service at Saint John High School retiring in 2019. Family, her two fur babies Mollee and Mia was everything to Judy. Spending time outdoors, riding on the motorcycle with her husband, lifelong partner and high school sweetheart Malcolm "Mac" was everything to Judy. She raised her children to be caring and independent so they knew everyday how loved they were. Judy was always there to listen with an open heart and a positive pep talk to uplift anyone in need.
In addition to her husband and step-father, Judy will be missed by her children Nicholas Burgess (Bayleigh) and Katelyn Fisher (Devan); her grandchildren Angel, Alexander, Benjamin, Sophia and Samantha; her sister Debbie Gatien (Steve); several nieces and nephews; as well as all those whose lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Due to the current public health restrictions, a private interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
