Obituary of Paul Joseph Goguen

It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Goguen of Saint John announce his passing which occurred on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on November 17, 1951 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Andrew and Rosalie (Gallant) Goguen.

Prior to retiring, Paul had a long working career as a bartender throughout the city.  This was a job he truly enjoyed and where many friendships were made.  He always was up for a good game of cribbage and looked forward to the times spent at home with those he loved.

Paul will be lovingly remembered by his best friend and partner, Irene Robichaud; daughters, Mindy Hasselman and Michelle Goguen; brothers, Raymond Goguen (Julie) and Roger Goguen; sister, Bernice Goguen; along with nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Paul’s wishes, there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
