Always kind and friendly, John was ready for anything that was asked of him and usually volunteered before you even asked. He accomplished so much and was a true community champion. So sorry Marie and family, a huge loss but what a full life! I know I’m a better person for meeting John.

Marie, and all of the family, my sincere condolences on John's passing. As you know he was a huge part of ONE Change and the Nick Nicolle Community Centre. We will miss him dearly. I will miss him dearly! John was one of my favorite people. I looked forward to him being at the centre and if he wasn't there when expected, we were calling Marie to see if he was ok. From the muffins he made for kids, to the help in lunch programs, to the cards and stories that John would share from his home and life growing up; he enriched the lives of so many. And certainly my own. My heart breaks for all of you. Much love. Barry

Dear Caley Family.
I was saddened to read the obituary for John. It seems he accomplished much and touched the lives of many.
My great grandfather was Thomas William Caley from, Ballacrink, Jurby, Isle of Man. Perhaps there is a relationship.
I am remembering you in prayer . "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted" Psalm 34:18
