Obituary of Barbara Louise Murr

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Barbara Louise Murr announces her passing, which occurred on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Loch Lomond Village. Born October 22, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Collrin) Grant.

Barbara worked for many years as a counsellor with Social Services and Child Protective Services.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Jay (Lisa) and Tim (Sue) Murr; grandchildren, Brianna and Jake Murr; nephews: Tommy, Terry, and Troy Grant; sister-in-law, Hilda Grant; and her special friend, Gerry Leblanc.

Aside from her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Tom.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 26 & 27, 2020 from 2 pm to 5 pm. A private graveside service will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NB or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
