Helen is indeed an 'elegant soul'. Such a loving and beautiful spirit she had and shared that with many. We shared family history and many sweet conversations over the years. A true example of kindness to all.

Cathy..I was a big fan of your Mother. She was a “tour de force”. I don’t think she every wasted a minute in her day. She was mild manner, always smiling that lovely smile, but made things happen. When it came to canvassing...Who could ever say no to Helen. She went out in wind and rain if she had missed you the first time around. She also managed to get me involved more than once.....”Who could say no to Helen”..Belonging to the kindness Club was perfect for her...She was more than kind to every body and every animal.
I was pleased to see she was recognized by the Governor General...She was so worthy of that. We have not lived in the Park for 10 years now so I did lose touch with her and your dad...They were always together canvassing whether driving or walking. I enjoyed your mother very much...She was a wonderful Christian woman.
Nancy and Dick Streeter.

Good morning!
My name is Elsy U.
I would like to offer my sincere condolences for the death of your loved one.
I know that losing a loved one is one of the most agonizing pains that a human being can experience.
Hence an important question arises .. "will we see our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death"?
The bible says in John 5 (28 ~ 29) "The hour is coming when all those who are in the graves will hear his voice and come out." The words of this biblical text give us a well-founded hope to see again our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death through RESURRECTION. In the past God already resurrected human beings, the bible mentions 8 cases of people who died and were resurrected. To mention a case "Lazarus the friend of Jesus" John 11 (39 ~ 44) These biblical accounts guarantee us that there will be Resurrection.
Coping with grief is not easy, but knowing that Jehovah will soon give a solution through the Resurrection of our loved ones, is something that will give you strength and courage to overcome pain.

My most heartfelt condolences.. From childhood to adulthood, my memories of Helen were of her love of animals, which we share, and how gentle and kind she was. Always soft spoken and interested in every word you spoke. Unfortunately I never had many visits with her, but my memories of her will remain steadfast. Jennifer Ferguson
