Sister Amy was my grade three teacher at St. Pius X School. I have often said that I was only taught by one nun in school, but she was the best. Sister was kind and friendly to all the children. She was also athletic. I still remember her playing baseball with her class all those years ago. When I met her again in later years, she was always the same kind and friendly person. Although she carried a beautiful baptismal name, Theresa, she remained Sister Amy to me. I will offer Mass for her on Saturday and Morning Prayer for her on the day of her burial. Rest In Peace, dear Sister Amy.
