Obituary of Joyce Adeline Brown
It is with great sadness that the family of Joyce Brown of Grand Bay-Westfield, cherished wife of Donnie Brown, announce her sudden passing which occurred on Monday, June 8, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on December 2, 1953 in Gagetown, she was the daughter of the late Eldon and Mildred (Reicker) Palmer.
Joyce was employed as an executive administrative assistant at Hanson Wealth Management. This was a career she truly enjoyed and where many connections were made. Her work ethic was remarkable and will not be forgotten by all who knew her. Joyce looked forward to gatherings with those she loved and had many fond memories of her traveling adventures with family and friends. Most of all, she treasured the times spent with her precious grandchildren who were her world.
In addition to her husband Donnie, Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her children, Heather Brown (Ian MacLennan) of Nerepis and Stacey Brown (Kyle Boudreau) of Grand Bay-Westfield; brother, Stephen Palmer (Lisa) of Quispamsis; adored grandchildren, Alyson and Bryce MacLennan; dear friend, Donnie Robertson; along with nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her dear friend, Marion Robertson.
Due to current health restrictions, all services will be held privately at Grand Bay Baptist Church. Interment will take place in Central Hampstead Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to your local food bank or to Romero House.
