Obituary of Shirley Ann Garfield

Garfield, Ann Shirley. – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ann Garfield of Saint John which occurred on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at her residence. Born on August 13, 1949 she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Marguerite (Glenn) Garfield.

She is survived by her daughter: Bonita Garfield of California; siblings: Laurie “Buzz” (Annette) Garfield, Carol (Wayne) Connell and James “Jim” (Lisa) Garfield all of Saint John; grandson: Cooper Garfield Lyman; several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Janet, special friends Bob Sherriff and Barb and Bob Bond.

Besides her parents Ann was predeceased by her brothers: Wayne and Robert (Bob) Garfield.

Ann was employed at The Reversing Falls Restaurant for many years. Ann enjoyed bingo and travelling.

Due to the public health crisis there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will be held at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish remembrances to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
