Obituary of Rose Elaine O'Toole
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom, Nan, Sister, Auntie and friend. Rose passed peacefully in her sleep on June 27th, 2020, in her adoptive province of New Brunswick.
Rose Elaine O'Toole was born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia on December 28th,1959, to parents Vernon and Mary O'Toole. She is survived by her children :Tanya (Darryl), James, Stacey and Mitchell; grandchildren: Jada, Hannah, Conner, Colby, Logan, John, Torrence, Jackson and Taylor; siblings: Mary-Lou, Anna, Vernon (Mary), Ernest (Karen), Shirley (Keith) Downey, Loretta, Jenny (James) and Connie. Also left to mourn are her maternal aunt, Agnes (John) Johnson; her paternal uncles, John W. MacDonald and Sandy MacLeod; and her dear friends, Louie Bush and Kenny Ranson.
Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by her sister Leona and the love of her life, Roger Newport.
Rose will always be remembered for her beautiful, infectious smile, her love of the beach and the sea glass treasures that came with it. She was a wonderful, caring and selfless woman who will be missed by all those who knew her.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). At Rose's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. A private burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com.
